Dudhsagar Waterfalls | Best waterfall in South India

Dudhsagar Waterfalls is one of the most beautiful falls in South India. Here, I would like to share my traveling and trekking experience with you all. We visited Goa in June 2019. Dudhsagara is part of my Goa trip and it is located 83KM from Calangute Beach, Goa. Ramesh M, Sahu, Venkatesh are traveled with me.

Travling to Dudhsagar, Colem

We have taken a rented bike(Scooty) from Goa and drove towards Dudhsagar. The bike ride is the best part. On the way find the beautiful Landscapes, Mountains, Rivers, etc. In Goa, we traveled beside the revers and visited the Oldest Church. We traveled on the best highways and through the forests.

Trekking towards Dudhsagar Waterfalls

Finally, we reached a village called Colem. They don't allow private vehicles into the forest. So, we parked bikes and taken the tickets and life jackets from the Counter. The bad thing is, in Rainy season, the Jeep/Cab services were canceled. From there we took the help of a local guide and started walking towards with lots of enthusiasm.

We last all the energy, getting huge sweat from the body After 20min of walking in the thick forest. Then we asked the guide about the trekking distance(from Colem to Dudhsagar Waterfalls). We shocked after hearing the answer. He said 10KM for a side. We trekked around 20KM during the entire trip. But, the journey through the Forest will give a different experience. We crossed through two rivers which are walkable depth.

But the trekking in the thick forest is awesome. Full of green, large trees, crossing rivers were the awesome moments.

Tip: Collect all your energy dirks and Snak and Foods in Colem only.

Dudhsagar Waterfalls Moments

Finally, we reached the falls. Right at the moment our bodies flying in the Air after the trekking of 10KM. The waterfalls are very good for swimming and the life jackets will give you a better experience. The waterfall views were awesome. The pond was filled with giant fishes. But be careful with monkeys if you carry any snakes.
